Any member may introduce a visitor to the Clubhouse. The names of all visitors introduced to the social facilities in the Clubhouse must be entered in the Visitors' Book provided for the purpose and the receipt retained. There is no visitors' fee payable. Members must exercise discretion in excessive introductions of any one adult visitor to the Clubhouse, and the same adult visitor must not be introduced frequently in any one calendar year by any one or more members.
Royal South Yarra offers its members two bar areas, each with a distinct personality. The bars are the heart of the clubhouse and are wonderful venues for a quiet drink with family and friends, or for get-togethers with fellow members. Our bars provide a warm, convivial atmosphere and are air conditioned in Summer and cosy in Winter when fires are glowing.

The Courtyard Bar is located on Level Two and offers an extensive wine list from across the globe. The bar is ideal for pre or post dining drinks, celebrations, or just catching up with fellow members and guests.

The library is an intimate space where members can indulge in some private time surrounded by an impressive range of books, tennis and Club memorabilia and videos. The library is ideal for those interested in cards, and is set up to accommodate popular games including bridge.
The Library is fully equipped with computer and WI-FI, and is available for all members to use at no expense. Members may also watch television, videos and DVD’s; or simply enjoy the chance to catch up on some light reading.
The Library is situated on Level Three adjacent to the Administration Offices.

Make Your Next Function a Royal Occasion
Various rooms are available for members to host private functions for corporate events, training sessions, birthdays, engagements, weddings or anniversaries. Rooms are available at competitive prices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail parties. Our function packages have been specially designed by the Club chef and Events Manager and encompass canapés, set menus and themed events to ensure your occasion is one to remember and all your food needs are met.

Located on Level Two, the Como Room is popular with members for bigger events where members can mingle in a spacious area; and have the option to dine at tables seating ten people.

Located on Level Three, next to the Administration Offices, the Committee Room is often used for corporate meetings, with a boardroom table taking pride of place in the centre of the room. This boardroom table can additionally be transformed into a dining table where guests can enjoy a comfortable and more formal environment.

Apartment Accommodation - Mont Verdant
Royal South Yarra offers accommodation for its members, reciprocal members and guests sponsored by members, catering for both short and long term bookings, subject to availability. All Club facilities are available for use by residing guests.
The residential accommodation comprises four boutique apartments known as "Mont Verdant".
Adjacent to the clubhouse in Verdant Avenue, "Mont Verdant" resides high on the hill and boasts picturesque views of the Club's tennis courts, the surrounding district and parklands, and across the Yarra River to the CBD skyline.
The four apartments, known as Melbourne Park, Wimbledon, Flushing Meadows and Roland Garros, reflect comfort, style, and tasteful décor.
Each apartment is spacious with two bedrooms, sitting room, separate dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Presenting as a home away from home, the apartments are elegantly furnished, fully outfitted and complemented with modern facilities.
Off street parking is available for each apartment.
